Paula Faris
Paula Faris, an American journalist,
worked previously as an anchor for television at ABC News. Her time as
co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host of The View
(2015-2018) are very well-known. She was previously co-anchor of America This
Morning as well as World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. She was employed in radio sales, because
television was not a viable option. She was hired as a WKEF/WRGT production
assistant and then became a anchor and reporter. From 2002 until 2005, she was
the sports anchor for weekends and weekday sports anchor at the WCPO-TV station
in Cincinnati. When her contract ended, she became a anchor and sports reporter
for the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 through December
2011. She was hired by ABC News' news division in December. Her debut on the
network was on January 2, 2012 on ABC's World News Now, and America This
Morning. She was also on Good Morning America's fill-in programme, Good Morning
America, on January 2, 2012. She was later promoted to New York-based
correspondent for all ABC News programs. She hosted America This Morning and
World News Now's last episode on January 22 2013. She made her debut on Good
Morning America Weekend as co-anchor on August 9, 2014. This was following
Bianna Golodryga moved to Yahoo! News. News. The show revealed on August 3 on
the 3rd of August, 2016, that she had been renewed for her contract for the
twentieth season. Season 21 also saw her renewed as cohost. In the 21st and
22nd seasons she was mostly on the show's Friday shows.
